Data Breach Tabletop CLE

November 15, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Come join the PLA for an interactive walk through the aftermath of a data breach: notices, damage control, regulatory interactions, and (ultimately) preventative measures. We’ll touch on threats uniquely posed by AI and other evolving technologies, along with some basic advice on how to counter them. Panelists will include Lawrence Montle, CISA, CIPP, PLS, CCA, Adjunct Professor at NYLS; Chad Rosenthal, CIPP, Director and Associate General Counsel of Privacy and Digital Platforms at LG Electronics; and Kahini Ranade, Assistant General Counsel at the New York City Office of Technology & Innovation. See the full program, including speaker biographies, here.

NY CLE credit will be available for both transitional and non-transitional attendees: 1 credit of Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection-General and 0.5 credits of Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection-Ethics.

This event will run from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in the Auditorium, WA14, on Wednesday, November 15. Please register (for free) in advance below.
