Dark patterns are manipulative or deceptive practices built into user interfaces by developers that have the effect, intentionally or unintentionally, of obscuring, subverting, or impairing consumer autonomy, decision-making, or choice.

Our expert panel will discuss all that you need to know regarding dark patterns in privacy, including what they are (with examples), what legislation covers dark patterns, recent cases, and how to best advise your clients on how to avoid dark patterns.
